Marcelo Triana’s practice focuses on representing individuals and corporations in white-collar criminal defense, regulatory investigations, and complex commercial litigation. He has represented clients in a diverse range of matters involving alleged violations of securities laws, financial fraud, breach of contract, and breach of fiduciary duty. Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Triana was an associate at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP. He also clerked for the Honorable Victor Marrero of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. He received his law degree from New York University School of Law in 2018, where he served as the Senior Online Editor for the NYU Law Review. During law school, Mr. Triana interned in the Criminal Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, and the Civil Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York. He received his Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from Hobart and William Smith Colleges in 2012. Mr. Triana is admitted to practice in New York, and before the United States District Courts of the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
