Cara Hume represents individuals and corporations in internal investigations, criminal and regulatory proceedings, and civil litigation. Ms. Hume clerked for the Honorable Harry D. Leinenweber of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Prior to her clerkship, Ms. Hume was an associate at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP. Ms. Hume graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania in 2016. She earned her J.D. in 2020 from New York University School of Law, where she served as a Staff Editor of the Journal of Legislation and Public Policy and as an extern at both the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. Ms. Hume is admitted to practice in the State of New York and before the Southern District of New York.
