Petrillo Klein & Boxer LLP

Our Firm is dedicated to partner-led client service at the highest level of professional commitment and quality. We regularly represent clients facing high stakes investigations and litigation, often on more than one front and in settings where business and reputational considerations are an integral component of case strategy. Our clients include individuals, public corporations, business entities, board committees, nonprofit organizations, lawyers and other professionals, and government officials, and we regularly serve as counsel to clients in cross border matters.

Most recently, in 2019, we represented the former KPMG national managing partner for audit quality and professional practice, and tried to verdict United States v. Middendorf, 18-cr-36 (JPO), SDNY. In 2017, we tried to verdict three significant securities cases: In re Duka, SEC Admin. Proc 3-16349; United States v Petrossi, 16-cr-234 (BMC), EDNY; and United States v. Shapiro, 15-cr-155 (RNC), DCT.

In independent investigations, we represent both institutional clients and employees, and a partner of the Firm has served as an independent review officer in a pharmaceutical corporation's settlement with the government. We are regularly engaged in civil litigation in federal, state and bankruptcy court, administrative proceedings and in arbitration and mediation.

The Firm's partners have decades of experience in private practice with national firms and in government positions, including with the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Click here for biographical information.
